To say that its been awhile since hes done this would be an understatement. Just going out exploring, no one breathing over his back with a list of demands and expectations of what he should get. Since hes arrived in hoenn razz hasn't tried to capture any new pokemon, sabrina and salem were always good enough for him. so he thought why not try and capture someone new, if rumors were to be believed he might need a few more pokemon by his side. Though he would be lying to say that some of the kids in his apartment asking 'what kind of trainer only has 2 pokemon?' wasn't also part of the reason why he was now walking through the tall grass. [break][break]

At the moment only Salem was out of his pokeball by his side excitingly looking through the grass with him, as it was pretty early in the morning and the odd ball cat seemed to be his most energetic during this time rather than his sassy sister. in addition the blue cat seemed much more excited at the idea of a new friend to join them so who knows what this could bring them. [break][break]

With a pause of his movement and a twitch of his ears Razz knew instantly that Salem found something near by. The teen watched as his cat took on a pouncing stance as he scanned the area curious about what he found, and if whatever it was knew it was about to be prey. With a wiggle of its tail Salem pounced toward some heavy bushes on around and out flew the ladybug pokemon. "Nice find," he praised his partner as the cat got excited for battle. The Lidian also seemed excited for a foe as it's wing turned red, "Light Screen!" Razz commanding knowing full well what was to come as the bug pokemon tried to use Bug Buzz to attack first. They may have the type disadvantage but he wouldn't allow Salem to easily fall victim. With a smile and a flap of its ears it quickly summoned up a pink curved force field around the two of them to protect from the attack. [break][break]

Without even needing to speak Salem knew what was next with practice ease as his eyes flashed blue and a blue aura to match surrounded the wild bug as he used Psychic to first knock Lidian to the ground before flinging it into the air. Razz was a simple person to please and was planning on trying to catch it though before he could grab a pokeball Sabrina came out of hers with a flash of light. She looked at the Lidian before looking back to Razz and her brother meowing harshly as if scolding them first. After she turned to the bug pokemon and then scolding him, he definitely got his brother's pickiness as he looked up at the now dejected bug as it flew away seeming not wanting to be with the picky white cat. [break][break]

"Well I guess we keep looking," he chuckled lightly as the white cat continued on with grace expecting the two to follow, Salem easily meowing in annoyance at his sister's attitude. Hopefully they'd be able to find something that could meet both their standards.

_{TLDR: The Lidian was not up to Sabrina's standards so she made him run away for Razz and them to continue looking}

Razz followed along with his new diva pokemon, a small smile on his lips as with the way she walked even resembled his brother. Despite his twin and him going their separate ways after things it was nice to have one of his pokemon with him to keep him in mind. Though with the pouting look on Salem's face he was none to happy to have his sister around. An act he was sure which made it all the more amusing. Part of him wondered how is Nindoqueen was doing in his brother's care when the shifting of grass caught his attention and his body involuntarily tensed up at the sight of the new pokemon that caught their path: Toxicroak. [break][break]

Apparently it was amused at the way the lady took out the bug from not long ago and it was curious to give it a try. Seeming to pass her standard she baited him to go first. The frog happily complied as it dashed forward to try a chance with Poison Jab to which she dodged making her brother cheer for her, thought it was clear that Razz wasn't as amused at this battle as the cats were. She used her physic abilities to move herself away from the poison pokemon before using Magical Leaf, not seeming to care that Razz wasn't giving orders. To counter the Toxicroak used Poison Jab again to destroy the leaves. Fast, Sabrina checked that off her mental list she and the frog pokemon continued to go add it, making it a point not to use her psychic attacks just yet. [break][break]

After a few minutes of exchanging blows Sabrina knocked out the fighting/poison pokemon with a Psybeam. Despite taking a few hits the white cat was quite pleased with herself as she gestured to Razz that it was okay to catch this one. Razz just stared at the fainted pokemon with nothing but pain as the memories of his trading his Nindoqueen for Meowstic was for a reason, "No poison or fire pokemon," was all he said to her before walking off.[break][break]

Well there went his pleasant mood.

It seemed the roles had switch between the cat pokemon as while usually the talkative one was Salem with Sabrina usually the one to get him to calm down, now it was the other way. The white Meowstic was clearly trying to scold him for not trying to capture the Toxicroak from before but Razz was adamant about the subject. With poison they were too closely associated to the life he left, they made him tense and uncomfortable and he didn't want the reminder of them. With fire pokemon, well there was a reason why he was not blind in one eye and has a scare on his face. Maybe he was being to 'emotional' about it as his brother would most likely claim like hes sure Sabrina is trying to tell him now, but unless there was something that really forced him to keep said typing he would avoid it.

Though her nagging at him was admittedly getting on his nerves a bit. As the came to a shaded area covered with trees he paused and hit his fist on the trunk to both let go of some growing aggravation and more of a get her attention because at this point simple words were going to stop her. "Enough I've said-

An angry cry interrupted him as the 3 of them looked up at a very upset Golbat. It closed it's mouth before spitting out poison attempting to use Venoshock on the trainer itself. Thankfully Razz was able to react with practiced ease to avoid it. Wasn't the first time he was attacked by pokemon and it wouldn't be the last. Though honestly he was done with poison types for the day and didn't want to deal with this. "Salem!" he called to the blue cat as Salem jumped up at the oddly colored bat clapping its hands in front of him for Fake Out. Quickly it followed it up with Psychic as a blue aura surrounded the Golbat and used the forced to slam the Golbat down to the ground. "Keep down," Razz demanded of it fully intending on letting it go

Though it seemed like Sabrina had thoughts of her own as the sounds of crackling filled the air as she gathered electric energy between her ears forcing both Razz and Salem to jump out of the way as she used a Charge Beam against the down Golbat. Razz was about to protest at her but became speechless as he saw one of his pokeballs covered in the psychic aura, she wouldn't.... As if to spite him Sabrina tossed the pokeball at the greenish bat which made the trainer just clench his fist in anger and annoyance. If it ended up sticking he knew he wouldn't be keeping it for long, but even if it missed he was done for the day.
